Happy Mother’s Day!
Join us this Sunday for a Mom to Moms message from Christa Schmeelk, Director of Family Ministry. All of us will be able to relate to this message about the faith of Hannah. She wasn’t afraid to call out to God, spilling out her desires to Him. Especially facing the added stress in this time of quarantine, we can follow Hanna’s example to be brutally honest when approaching God in prayer and can trust His faithfulness to care for us.
Uplifting Music: UW Madison Singers and an FPC “Alumni” share their talents
FPC member, and former Producer/Director of UW Madison’s Wisconsin Singers, Robin Novotny shared a link to this timely song of hope and holding onto our dreams.
David Doty, grew up at FPC, was a music composition major, then attended seminary in St. Louis. He has been an assistant pastor for six years at two Chinese Christian churches. This original song and lyrics were written by David. Thanks to David’s dad, Steve Doty, for sharing this music with us.
What are YOU doing at home?
We want to see what’s going on at your house! Please send us pictures or video links so our church family can feel connected when we can’t physically be together. Send your photos, links of your 1-2 minute video, or stories to communications@myfpc.org so we can share it in an upcoming Connector. Let’s be intentional about Living Faith Together!
