Come Celebrate the Risen Lord!
There are three ways to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection with us on Easter Sunday, April 4th.
- Attend our indoor worship beginning at 10 am (please sign up online).
- Listen to the indoor worship service from the comfort of your car in FPC’s parking lot. Tune your radio to 93.5FM at 10 am.
- Watch our virtual service from the comfort of your home anytime on Sunday.
A Talented Invitation
The very talented, Children’s Ministry Elder, Melissa Schall, invites all 5th and 6th graders to brush up your juggling, singing or stand-up act to wow a Zoom audience on April 16. All talents will be showcased! Email Children’s Ministry Elder, Melissa Schall, with any questions.
Wake Up & Worship
Wake Up & Worship (for kids 4K through 6th grade) continues this weekend during Easter Sunday worship. If you would like your child to attend, you will need to sign up in advance when you sign up to attend indoor worship. Spots are limited to 20 kids.
Children will enter and exit the church building from the education wing door. (The south entrance.) We are not able to have families walking through the building before or after service. The same covid-conscious guidelines for indoor worship apply for children’s programming.
Opening the Church Office
At the March Session meeting, the Elders voted to begin reopening the church office incrementally, authorizing the Personnel Elder, Pastor, and front line office staff to develop a plan and implement it. According to the plan put together by this group, as of Monday, March 29, the Church Office will be open and staffed on Mondays and Wednesdays 10 am – 4 pm. (Video recording in the sanctuary for online worship happens between 8-10 am, and we wanted to avoid in-building traffic then.) Donna, Sue, and Alka will be covering the church office on a rotating schedule.
Anyone wishing access to the church building during these office hours should use the staff entrance, which will be open. (Our office staff told us that that entrance is easiest for them to monitor and keep an eye on.)
As we have been doing, people wishing to access the building outside of these new hours may continue to call Donna, who will work to facilitate the request.
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 3rd between 11 and 12, Children’s Ministry is offering the Easter Trail! You can experience the Easter story—from Palm Sunday to Jesus’ resurrection—in a whole new way. Your family will drive the Easter Trail and stop at multiple stations around the FPC parking lot for treats and the Easter story.
