There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
— 1 Corinthians 12:4–7

A steward is a person who manages another person’s property or financial affairs. As Christians, we are stewards of all that God has given to us. We acknowledge that all we have is God’s, and that we are all stewards of our time, talents, and treasures.

Stewardship of Treasures
FPC supports a fall pledging season, where members are encouraged to prayerfully consider the ways that God is prompting them to give to the church. This season is an opportunity to learn how giving impacts our faith journeys and to what FPC has been able to accomplish through giving. Members are asked to prayerfully consider the financial treasure they will give to God’s work in the coming year and to fill out a Pledge Card. These pledges allow the Session to plan the work of His kingdom for the upcoming year. Our entire FPC budget is planned from these pledges. For more information on pledging, see our Stewardship FAQs Form. It is never too late to pledge! Fill out a pledge card and mail to the church office, Attn: Church Business Administrator
In addition to regular offerings, the Ministry Wish List describes more ways to share one’s treasure with specific ministry areas.
Giving in all forms—time, talent, and treasure—is both a privilege and a blessing.
