Student Ministry Elder: Shane Fisher
Shane’s wife, Amanda, and his family are from Lower Michigan. They do not have any children but they do have a dog (Piper – Dachshund/Terrier Mix) who thinks she is a child.
They’ve attended FPC for about 5 years and have been members for about 3 of those 5 years. It was one of the first churches they found since moving to Wisconsin and they felt at home as soon as they started attending.
Shane is an elementary school teacher at Orchard Ridge Elementary. He teaches LIbrary and STEAM (Makers) where they get to learn about literacy and technology through hands-on experiments.
Since joining the church, he’s been a youth mentor for Graceland Student Ministry and has been active in youth retreats and the mission trips to Guatemala. He also co-taught 1st grade Sunday School last year.
Shane’s hope is to help uplift the student ministry program by fostering a strong sense of belonging with a large focus on God. Since coming to FPC, he’s felt touched by God, personally, and wants to help encourage students to find their path to God as well. Shane believes in creating a fun and inviting atmosphere where everybody feels safe, welcomed and loved.
A fun fact: He’s a huge Star Wars fan!
Stewardship Elder: Brett Cable

Brett was in the confirmation at FPC around 1999, so he’s been a member at least 20 years, with some breaks in for college and when they lived in the Milwaukee area.
Brett is the CFO at The QTI Group in Madison.
He’s been involved with student and adult worship teams, and has been a youth mentor Wednesday nights, has attended a number of youth mission trips, and volunteered at VBS
He is looking forward to being a Stewardship elder and serving on Session.

Lynda work full time as a retirement actuary for CUNA Mutual Group. Lately she has been working from home full-time and helping with remote schooling as needed for their 3 kids.
Lynda has helped with decorating for VBS since 2011 (ironically typically decorating Fellowship Hall!) and she has helped decorate the church for Christmas. She also attended FPC’s youth mission trip to Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and has made cakes for church celebrations.
Her hope for the future of Fellowship is to try to connect people safely in a world with Covid-19.
Fun fact: She is a huge Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan and she loves hard rock music!

Todd has been a financial planner for 25 years. He started his career at Merrill Lynch and started his own practice in 2003.
He was on the Outreach Identity Profile committee years ago and is going into his third term as treasurer.
Todd likes staying involved with FPC and understanding in further detail what it takes to run a church. He previously enjoyed talking with everyone in the office on his weekly visit, pre-Covid, and hopes he can get back to that soon.
Fun fact: They continue to be Chicago Bears fans as both Diane and Todd were born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. It’s been tough being a Bears fan, but they always have faith!

Sharon and Torger joined FPC in 2015. She is a retired Special Ed Teacher. She taught at Mendota Mental Health Institute for 35 years. In the community, she is an election inspector and volunteers with Red Cross, the Waunakee senior center, and Arboretum Elementary School.
Sharon is a member of The Light Team. She’s also been involved in VBS, has been a greeter and volunteers willingly where needed.
She feels she’s answering God’s call to serve as a deacon.
