THE LAST LECTURE
BY RANDY PAUSCH
BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP
Sunday, January 18, 3:00 pm
 Small Meeting Room
Discussion Leader: Laurel Shepel

A college professor received a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and was given a short time to live.  His last lecture has become a classic, more about how to live, than about dying.  It is inspiring, and tells of enduring truths.

Other books selected for the year are:Here If You Need Me, by Kate Braestrup schedule for mid March and  and The Shack by William P. Young and Wayne Jacobsen & Brad Cummings, scheduled for the end of April.

UN-DECK THE HALLS
Saturday, January 3, 8:30-11:30 AM

We were blessed with a great crew “decking” the church for Advent; unfortunately, it all must come down!  We still need a few volunteers to remove decorations, to provide breakfast treats & coffee, and/or to supply trucks and vans for returning décor to our storage locker (around 10:30-11:30 AM).

A sign-up sheet is located at the Worship & Music Station in the Connection Center (to your left as you exit the Sanctuary).  Questions?  Call Sherri Ronge, 850-4477
