OUTREACH FOR WORLD HOPE: GUATEMALA 2011

In January of 2011 we will once again partner with Outreach for World Hope and send a mission team to southeastern Guatemala. We are currently collecting names of interested individuals and will begin preliminary team preparations in the near future. If you are interested in this opportunity, please sign up on the clip board at the Mission Station in the Connection Center.
We also continue to accept donated items for this mission including gently used children’s clothing (no pajamas, swimsuits or used underwear please), shoes, and small toys, new underwear, infant formula and over the counter medications such as cold and flu preparations, pain relievers, and topical creams. These items may be placed in the bin on the floor near the Mission Station in the Connection Center. We have a particular need for boys items and infant formula.
If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Wilkinson (846-0635 or wilkins@surgery.wisc.edu).

BELIEVING GOD —BETH MOORE BIBLE STUDY
Begins Thursday, September 9 at 7:00 PM
OR Friday, September 10 at 9:30 AM
Meet in Classroom #306, in the Upper Level of the Education Wing

Do you believe God, or simply believe in Him? Believing in God – who He is, what He has done - is very different from believing God, His promises, and His role in our current age. Come explore how to distinguish between the two and how to arrive at a different, deeper conclusion that results in a living, active faith.
Come join us! Sign up at the Adult Education Station in the Connection Center.

CONGRATULATIONS
TO OUR JOYFUL NOISE DIRECTOR
Sam The Man Robinson's birthday is Sunday, August 29!
