“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” 1 Corinthians 12 4-6
Use your God-gifted time and talents to help in some of the most needed ways at FPC:
In the office:
"Guy or Gal Friday" Needed - Until we can fill the recent staff vacancy, the office is in need of a smiling, welcoming person in the reception area on Friday mornings. The job is to greet visitors and answer phones, allowing staff "down the hall" to not be interrupted in their work. The hours are 9:00am-12:00pm or any portion thereof. This is a great way to support our wonderful staff and serve the FPC community at the same time! Contact Donna in the office for more information.
Fall Clean Up:
Free fresh air on Saturday, November 4 from 8:00-10:00am. Bring work gloves, and a rake if you have one! Coffee and donuts provided for all, big and small. Questions? Contact Sheldon, Volunteer Building and Grounds Manager.
Support the spiritual growth of FPC members and friends, by sharing in the management of FPC's Adult library located in the upstairs Gathering Space and downstairs Library room. Responsibilities include reshelving borrowed books, recommending and purchasing new materials, and encouraging library use within FPC. Contact Brian Keller, Adult Growth & Spiritual Nurture Elder for more information.
Musicians needed for First Praise
Are you feet tapping to the beat in praise of God? Do you enjoy contemporary Christian music? Do you play a musical instrument or have experience working a sound/video console? You are invited to explore being a part of the praise team at our 10:45am service. To find out more about his opportunity to share your a portion of your time and gifts, please contact Nancy Groeneveld, Director of Worship & Music Arts, or Eric Ross, Contemporary Worship Leader. We'd love to connect with you!
